Machine Washable. Washing in cold water is recommended (delicate). Hang to air dry ( placing them in the dryer activates an adhesive type material which causes the runner to become clingy to socks). Or with a wet washcloth and soap wipe away any grime and vacuum routinely. Vacuum : No beater bar or one that can be turned on and off because the brush can catch on the loops and create a snag in the carpeting.
